The devil’s game

When the Bible speaks about fear, does it say “fear not,” or “run for your life?”

Well, just in case you didn’t know, it definitely does not say the latter. The Bible says, ” fear not, trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.”(Proverbs 3:5)

Now, if the Bible says trust in the Lord, what is there to be insecure about or to fear? What is stopping you from following your dreams? What keeps you bounded to peer pressure?

Nothing! Absolutely nothing. You see, out of all the things our great God created, fear was not one of them. That’s the devil’s game. Just like when Adam and Eve hide behind the bush in the Garden of Eden because of the fear that someone might see them naked. God never said they were naked, so who did? No one, once again the devil’s game. To get what he wants, which is everything you have, he uses mind games to keep us from finding our true selves in God; our true happiness. He uses these games to block you from hearing God’s calling on your life. These games are something we all know of, if I were to call them by name, it’d be insecurities.

Don’t you see? God has made us in his perfect image (Genesis 1:27), which means in every way, we are like him. So why aren’t we acting, thinking, or speaking like him? Since our big brother and our pathway to God, Jesus Christ, died on the cross, we have all been given the power to rebuke demons and move mountains, so why aren’t we? Why do we doubt what we already have in Christ?

Now don’t get me wrong, life does get hard and will throw curve balls that will make doubt and insecurities flash through your mind, but it’s by the strength God has instilled in you that will help you over come those doubts. God will never give up on you and he will NEVER give you more than you can bare (1 Corinthians 10:13). So stop doubting yourself. Stop those insecurities from roaming your mind. He loves you unconditionally and that will never change.

Tell the devil that you are not fearful. Speak it in existence and it will come true. For every insecurity you think, tell yourself one more reason why you are beautiful inside and out. For every doubt, tell yourself the great, new plans you will fulfill.

We all have the armor to fight this war we call life, so put it on. Strap yourself tight with prayer and fill your mind with the word. The more you learn about God and what he has for you, the less vulnerable you will be to the devil’s attack. You are secure in God and every dream you have will come true. It’s time you believed that.

Ephesians 6:10-13~ “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

……… The war has started, are you ready?

Yours Truly,
